Our story, our values.
The name Equilibrium comes from Latin’s root word libra, meaning “weight” or “balance”.
As a constellation, zodiac symbol, and astrological sign, Libra is usually pictured as a set of balanced scales, often held by the blindfolded goddess, which symbolizes fairness, equality, and justice. These values are the backbone behind Equilibrium Insurance Partners.
Fairness – Equilibrium will stand behind unbiasedness and impartiality. We will not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
Equality – We will treat each client the same, regardless of premium, and do the absolute very best for each one of them.
Justice – A moral and political concept that encompasses what the broader social structure has determined is right and good. Equilibrium with provide justice to the people and communities we serve.
Besides the symbolistic values, the goddess represents – and that Equilibrium stands by – we also believe in three additional core values:
Balance – We believe that it’s crucial to strike equilibrium (balance) in all areas, both professionally and personally. Professionally, it’s our goal to find balance within the insurance policies we sell. We believe that everyone has a different equilibrium point (where coverage and price intersect). It’s our job to find that intersection to strike the perfect balance for each client. Personally, Equilibrium believes in work-life balance. Our days start a little bit earlier, but also end earlier too, so our employees can get to their kids’ after-school activities, prepare dinner, or take part in their own social activities.
Integrity – Equilibrium will always do the right thing. We will not take shortcuts to write business. We will present your business to our insurance partners wholly.
Innovation – Our goal is to stay up to date with the most cutting-edge tools available in the insurance sector. Productivity will be at the forefront of our business practices.
