Q2 2024 Results

Perrysburg, OH – Equilibrium Insurance Partners, L.L.C., a Perrysburg based property and casualty insurance brokerage achieved slightly above average Q2 2024 results with $105,738.90 of new written premium. Eight new clients were added, five commercial lines and three personal lines clients. 

New commercial lines premium totaled $100,318.90. All five wins came within our real estate vertical, including three hotel/motel wins, one vacant LRO, and one landlord policy (duplex) win. Michigan-based brokerage Burns & Wilcox led the way with two commercial wins this quarter totaling $64,438.78, while Amalgamated Insurance Underwriters was second with $16,825.77 in new commercial DWP.

Although wins are wins, we are still very eager to expand beyond our real estate division into other industries including contractors, manufacturers, and auto services. All cold-calling efforts are currently spent in those three spaces, with a heavy emphasis on contractors.

From a personal lines perspective, Michigan-based Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company led the way with all three wins totaling $5,420 of new DWP. The highlight of the quarter was beating out multiple independent agencies in a bid for a Perrysburg-based personal lines prospect which was a call in.

We are happy to share that we’ve surpassed half of a million dollars in written premium. We would like to hit $1 million by the end of the year, and to help us accomplish this, we are hiring a Commercial Account Manager.
